Shekhar Suman is one of India's most recognisable faces — actor, host, filmmaker, and now educator. The Film Academy needed a website that carried that authority. Not a template. Not something that looked like every other academy online.
I built the website entirely from scratch — with scroll-based animations, custom pages for faculty, courses, and team, and an application flow designed to convert interest into enrolment. Every detail was considered. Every element was intentional.

The Challenge
Building a website for a celebrity isn't just a design brief — it's a responsibility. The website had to carry the personality of Shekhar Suman: experienced, authoritative, warm, and cinematic. At the same time it needed to function as a high-performing academy platform — with detailed course information, faculty profiles, batch schedules, and an application process that worked flawlessly. The challenge was balancing the aura of the brand with the utility of the product.

Built Around Shekhar Suman
Every design decision on this website starts and ends with one question: does this feel like Shekhar Suman? The typography, the pacing, the visual weight — it all reflects his personality. Not a generic academy site. A digital extension of the man himself.
Scroll-Based Animations
Subtle, purposeful animations that trigger as you scroll — elements fade in, sections reveal themselves, and the page breathes. Nothing flashy or distracting. The animations add a sense of craft and intentionality that matches the academy's standard of excellence.
Custom Faculty Pages
Each faculty member gets their own dedicated page — not a card on a grid. Full bio, credentials, filmography highlights, and a visual treatment that gives every educator the respect they deserve. Built custom so the academy can expand the faculty section without constraints.
Custom Course Pages
Every course has its own detailed page covering curriculum, duration, batch structure, and fees — structured to answer every question a prospective student might have before they ever need to call. Clear, scannable, and built to convert interest into applications.
Custom Application Form
The application form was built from scratch — no third-party form plugins. Designed to collect the right information without overwhelming the applicant, with a clean UX that makes the process feel as considered as the education itself.
Team Section
A dedicated team section that introduces the people behind the academy — the administrative staff, mentors, and coordinators who make it run. Custom-built layout that gives the team a face and builds trust with incoming students.
SEO-Friendly Architecture
Every page has clean semantic HTML, proper heading hierarchy, metadata, and structured content — built with Google in mind from the first line of code. The website is indexed correctly and structured to rank for film academy searches in Mumbai and across India.
Zero Plugins, Full Performance
No WordPress plugins. No pre-built templates. Pure custom code — hand-crafted HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The result is a site that loads fast, doesn't break from plugin conflicts, and gives the academy full control over every element without being held hostage by third-party tools.
