Godhuli is a Gujarat-based brand selling premium women's ethnic wear — sarees, kurtas, and traditional Indian clothing crafted for the modern buyer.
The existing store wasn't reflecting the brand. So we went back to zero — every section rebuilt from scratch, every feature coded exactly the way the brand needed it, with a focus on making the shopping experience smooth, confident, and fast.

The Challenge
Godhuli's old store wasn't built for their vision — it was a generic theme that didn't reflect the brand's identity or serve their customers well. Ethnic fashion has unique challenges: sizing varies widely, buyers need confidence before purchasing, and the brand also needed a B2B channel. No off-the-shelf theme could handle all of this — so everything was rebuilt from scratch, exactly the way they wanted it.
What I Built
Every Feature, Hand-Coded for Godhuli
Custom Size Measurement Form
One of the biggest pain points in fashion e-commerce — customers don't know their size. I built a fully custom measurement form that guides buyers through taking their own measurements and finding the right fit. This reduces returns and increases buyer confidence significantly.
B2B Page
Built a dedicated B2B portal for wholesale and trade buyers — completely separate from the retail experience. Godhuli can now handle both direct customers and business buyers from the same store without any third-party app.
Detailed Category & Product Pages
Every collection page and product page was designed to showcase ethnic wear the right way — fabric details, care instructions, size charts, and styling context all built into the layout. Customers get everything they need to make a confident buying decision.
Smart Cart
Built a smart cart that shows product thumbnails, size selections, and upsell suggestions — all without a page reload. The cart is fast, intuitive, and keeps customers engaged through to checkout.
Complete Store Revamp
This wasn't a theme edit — it was a full rebuild from scratch. Every section, every interaction, and every line of code was written specifically for Godhuli's brand identity and customer journey. No leftover template code, no bloat.

By writing clean, lean code from scratch and avoiding plugins, the revamped store loads significantly faster than the original. Faster stores rank better on Google and convert more visitors into buyers.
