Duchess Kumari is a premium Indian fashion brand selling co-ord sets, tops, and bottoms. The store needed to feel as elevated as the brand — clean, fast, and built around how their customers actually shop.
Every section was hand-coded from scratch. No page builders, no bloated apps — just a sharp focus on the customer journey from first scroll to checkout.

Duchess Kumari needed more than a good-looking store. They needed a shopping experience that would hold a customer's attention, guide them through the collection, and make buying feel effortless. Generic Shopify themes couldn't deliver the level of detail and custom functionality the brand required — so everything was built from scratch.

Shop the Look
Built a fully custom 'Shop the Look' section that lets customers discover and buy complete outfits in one click — directly from curated editorial images.
Sets — Buy Top & Bottom in Different Sizes
The standout feature. Most Shopify stores force you to pick one size for a set. I built a custom solution where customers can select a different size for the top and the bottom independently — solving a real problem for fashion buyers and reducing returns.
Quick Buy from Collection Page
Customers can select their size and add to cart directly from the collection grid — no need to open the product page. Fewer clicks, faster checkout, more conversions.
Custom Reviews Section
Designed and built a custom reviews display that matches the brand aesthetic — not a generic plugin widget. Reviews are styled to build trust without breaking the visual experience.
Cross-Sells on Product Page
Added a hand-coded cross-sell section on every product page to surface complementary pieces — increasing average order value without being intrusive.
Speed & Performance
Every section was hand-coded with performance in mind — no bloated apps, no unused CSS. The store loads fast on mobile and desktop, which directly impacts SEO and conversion rates.
Customer Journey Details
Every small detail was considered — size guides, product descriptions with fabric and fit info, breadcrumbs, sticky add-to-cart, clear shipping info — all designed to reduce friction and build buyer confidence.
Blog & Sitemap
Set up a blog structure and sitemap to help the store rank organically on Google — giving the brand a long-term SEO foundation alongside the paid channels.
